The screw and barrel are the core components of the plastic granulator, plastic extruder and waste plastic recycling machine. The service life is closely related to the product quality. It can be said that the quality and grade of a set of presses largely depend on this core component.

 

The polarization of the screw barrels used in plastic granulation equipment in my country is more serious. Some mechanical repair shops or small processing factories usually use ordinary carbon structural steel, and are assembled into simple machines through the simplest and roughest processing technology. The essence is to imitate regular equipment at the lowest cost and supply some equally non-standard workshop waste plastic recycling and processing plants. In this case, due to the rapid wear and tear of the core components, the service life is extremely low, and some produce less than two or three hundred tons of products, the output will be greatly reduced, and even serious situations will occur that the material is not eaten or the screw is broken.

 

 

One is to blindly reduce costs and make shoddy products, and attract some small customers who do not know how to do it at a low price; the second reason is that due to the limitations of processing conditions and processing technology, breakthroughs in key components and core technologies cannot be achieved, and the service life of equipment is low, so The quality of the processed products is poor and the service life of the whole machine is short, so this kind of soil machine is being eliminated at an accelerated rate.

 

The regular screw and barrel of plastic recycling granulator is made of alloy steel, which is made of multi-stage processes such as quenching and tempering, finishing, nitriding, inserting wear-resistant alloy, quenching, polishing, etc. In terms of technology, it is mainly through nitriding process and technology, but the screw of the plastic machine after the simple nitriding treatment is mostly used for extruders such as injection molding machines, wire drawing machines, and film blowing machines.

 

The nitriding depth is 300-500u under normal conditions. However, in terms of recycling and granulation of waste plastics, because waste plastics usually contain heavy sand and impurities, and are usually used in harsh environments such as high temperature, high pressure, water, continuous operation, etc., the wear condition is particularly serious, and the wear part of the screw is used. The wear-resistant alloy technology and the high-frequency quenching technology of the screw ribs can make the depth of the hardness layer increase sharply from 300u-500u under normal nitriding conditions to 1500u-3000u, reaching 5 to 10 times the depth of pure nitrided steel.
